Role:  Product Owner

Experience: 6-8+years

Location: Bangalore

Notice period: Immediate joiner

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/information technology, or in a related technical field or equivalent technology experience.
• 6-8+ years of overall experience; can be a mixture of Project Management & Program Management experience, but requires the last 3-4 years to be focused in Product Management roles.
• 2-3+ years’ experience in Retail and Payments
• Strong relationship management skills and cross functional stakeholder relationship building skills
• Understanding of various delivery frameworks and practices (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.) and appropriate application of them.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and prioritize numerous tasks and to coordinate activities with a high sense of urgency
• Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
• Understanding of business value related to features and functions
• Excellent presentation, verbal, written, interpersonal and listening skills
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
• Strong collaboration skills to achieve business goals collectively across broad teams
• Challenges the status quo, champions change and influences others to change
• Demonstrated hands on experience with Jira and Confluence

Responsibilities:

• Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders
• Defining product features to both stakeholders and the product team according to customer needs.
• Acting as a point of contact between teams and stakeholders.
• Managing and prioritizing product backlog items.
• Assisting the scrum/product development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
• Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release
• Identifying areas of improvement.
• Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product
