Experience: 8-10 years

Skills & Requirements: 

• Plan and implement medium to high risk changes on high profile production systems 
• Analyze and assess the impact of low to medium risk changes on high profile production databases 
• Resolve difficult/complex incidents affecting the operation/availability of high profile production databases and application instances in on-prem/AWS cloud environment 
• Install, configure, patch and maintain MS SQL, and other software 
• Manage and support clustered databases both for on-prem and AWS public cloud
• Significant experience with MS SQL database administration within AWS/Cloud environment -Proficient in SQL Server clustering like AlwaysOn in AWS, AWS RDS management and provisioning 
• SQL Plus scripting-Able to analyse SQL execution plans 
• Diagnose performance issues and make recommendations while working in AWS public cloud environment 
• Experience must have been gained in a production AWS cloud environment 
• Exceprience in Oracle Golden Gate administration / replication
• Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization 
• Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision
• Flexible to work in 24/7 shift
