Role: LINUX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

• Location: Kochi

• Mandatory Technical Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge on Linux Server Administration
• Hands on experience with customer-facing ticket & chat systems like: WHMCS and LiveChat
• Expertise in web server related technologies such as Apache, MySQL, PHP, Exim, Dovecot, SpamAssassin, Bind, DNS, FTP, Mailman, SSL
• Advanced knowledge of server hardening, cleaning malwares, using rootkit hunters, WAF configuration (eg: ModSecurity) for hacker mitigation.
• Firewall management using IPtables configuration. DDOS attack detection & mitigation.
• Knowledge in web hosting panels such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk and Direct admin
• Knowledge of using domain registrars like GoDaddy and Enom
• Proficient in doing live site migrations
• File transferring methods using FTP, SCP, SFTP and Rsync
• SSL Certificate generation and installation
• Excellent understanding of CentOS/RHEL and their package management tools (Yum & RPM), shell commands, advanced bash scripting, advanced Linux security concepts
• Compiling software such as the Linux Kernel, Apache & other packages from the source code
• Basic knowledge of CMS applications such as Word press, Mangento, Joomla etc

• Good-to-have Technical Skills:

• WHMCS billing & support system
  
• cPanel server setup, configuration and security hardening
  
• Additional web server technologies like as CloudLinux, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Litespeed, Varnish & Tomcat, Nagios
  
• CloudFlare CDN configuration & integration with cPanel
  
• Configuring and building RPMs from source

• Highly Preferred Technical Skills:

• AWS Cloud Administration which includes services like: EC2, S3, EBS, IAM, Cloud Watch, Security Groups, ELB
  
• Launch EC2 instances using AMIS (Linux and Windows) and configuring according to specific requirements and regions
  
• Configure S3 buckets with various life cycle policies to archive the infrequently used objects
  
• Create and manage user accounts, roles and granting required access permissions & privileges using IAM
